Ordering The HairMax Laser Comb
On July 15, I ordered the HairMax Laser Comb Premium model online from the official HairMax Website. Total cost was $530 US Dollars for the Premium Laser Comb. There is also a compact version called the HairMax Laser Comb SE. The only difference I could tell between the Premium and SE is the SE has less Lasers, 5 beams instead of the 9 beams on the Premium Comb. The SE is also cheaper, at $395. I decided on the Premium model as I need all the beams and power I can get
HairMax (Lexington) had a promotional deal on in July, $50 dollars off the regular price. I thought this was a good deal (and timing on my behalf) until I went back to the website in August, and they have the exact same promotion for August. I guess this is a clever marketing technique to make people feel they have got a great deal.
10 Days later my LaserComb arrived in the mail. It come packed away in a nice looking case. My first impressions of the HairMax Laser Comb we’re not entirely positive. The device itself is very cheap and plastic looking. The power cord is difficult to plug into the socket, and the lasers themselves look out of alignment when you point them on the wall. If you are expecting the build quality of say an Apple product, you will be sadly dissapointed. But to be honest, I don’t really care. If the device regrows my hair, I don’t care what it looks like. And as it turns out, after 15 minutes of holding the Comb above your head, I am actually glad it is light and plastic.
